Which tests can you have?
We collect samples for most of the tests prescribed by your doctor — for example:
- Blood tests — full blood count, blood glucose, lipid profile, kidney and liver function, hormones, among others.
- Urine tests — urinalysis, urine culture and quantitative assays.
- Other biological samples, as prescribed.
Samples are collected at CRMA's premises, in Faro, and the tests are processed in partnership with the AQUALAB laboratory.
When it is requested
- Routine assessment requested by your doctor.
- Alongside imaging exams — for example, recent tests requested before contrast-enhanced exams.
- Follow-up of a chronic condition — diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid, among others.

- Regular medication: continue as usual, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
- Hydration: drinking water is allowed and makes the collection easier.
- Collection times: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 08:00 to 11:00.
Results
Results are made available within a timeframe that depends on the type of tests and can be collected in person, in printed form, or viewed online. With your authorisation, they can be sent directly to the referring doctor.
