Please arrive about 15 minutes before your exam, or as advised when you booked. Bring your referral and, if applicable, your insurer or subsystem card.

Are you having a magnetic resonance scan, a CT scan with contrast, a mammography or a bone densitometry? These exams include a safety questionnaire. Common questions
Before your exam, here's what people usually ask us.
Do I need a medical referral to have an exam?
Yes — diagnostic imaging exams require a medical referral, on paper or in digital format. There are two dedicated routes: for preventive exams the indication is taken on by CRMA's medical team at the prior assessment; for interventional radiology, booking is by phone and preceded by an assessment by the medical team.
How do I prepare for a magnetic resonance scan?
It depends on the area being studied. In general, wear comfortable clothing with no metal parts and tell us about any prostheses, implanted devices or medication you take. We will ask you to fill in the safety questionnaire.
Do I need to fast for a CT scan?
For some exams, yes — especially if intravenous contrast is used. You will receive specific instructions after booking.
When will I receive my results?
We let you know when the report is ready. The timeframe depends on the type of exam and the complexity of the analysis — you will be advised when you book.
Does CRMA have an agreement with my insurer?
